Barracca Republic is a reggae band from the Cilento region in Southern Italy, blending Mediterranean roots with Jamaican vibrations into a distinctive and authentic sound. The project stands out for its strong live identity and a musical language that combines Italian and dialect, exploring social, cultural and spiritual themes.
In 2023, the band released their debut album Terra Seura, preceded by the single “Preghiera del Sud” featuring Marcello Coleman. In 2025, Barracca Republic won the Summerjam Festival, performing in Cologne in front of an international audience and marking a major turning point in their journey.
Over the years, they have shared the stage with artists such as Alborosie and Mellow Mood, strengthening their reputation as a powerful live act within the reggae scene.
A new album is scheduled for release in summer 2026, opening a new chapter for the band, increasingly focused on expanding into the European and international market.
