We The People have a duty to hold our public servants accountable. There is a dire need for police reform worldwide, and transparency is critical to identifying the changes needed. The 1st Amendment protects our right to record police interactions.
The 1st Amendment was written to protect five freedoms critical to a pursuit of happiness:
Freedom of Religion
Freedom of Speech
Freedom of Press
Freedom to Assemble
Freedom to Protest
The 2nd Amendment was written in case that shit didn't work out!
If we don't exercise our rights, we will eventually lose them. Not knowing your rights is the same as not having rights. When you give up your rights, you endanger everyone's rights. When you exercise your rights, you protect all our rights.
LEARN YOUR RIGHTS,
TAKE PRIDE IN YOUR RIGHTS,
FLEX YOUR RIGHTS,
and
ALWAYS RECORD POLICE INTERACTIONS
