Original songs with roots in folk and blues
Christopher Cook’s songs of sadness and loss, defiance and redemption reflect his rural Texas roots – the loneliness of the flatlands, the bare hills of winter, and a yearning for true connection.
Christopher has over thirty years experience as a songwriter, leader of rock and jazz bands, and as a solo performer. He has played throughout California, Texas, and the Pacific Northwest and has released five albums of original music. He is now joined by his partner Emmy Rose. Emmy sings and plays the harmonium, which adds an old-world resonance to their music.
