I am a maker. A sewer (sewist). A quilter. A Fibre Artist. A dog lover. A very proud Grammy to 4 beautiful grandchildren . A longtime single Mom (by choice before it was acceptable i -1973) and I may have a few things to share about that!
I am retired from a looong nursing career (43 years!). They tell me I can no longer use the title ‘RN’ but you know ... once a nurse always a nurse! I have a wealth of HEALTH And WELLNESS information inside this brain and I do plan on sharing that with all of you, my friends.
QUILTNG since 1993, Starting with traditional follow someone else’s pattern, to my latest craze of developing my own art quilts ranging from landscapes, thread paintings, and pet portraits. I have even done a self portrait - Stay tuned for some SEWING and QUILTING posts.
