Anthony is the "1st Prize Absolute" (grand prize) winner of the 2006 Italy Percussive Arts Society Days of Percussion competition, and a PAS Keyboard Committee member.
Anthony is a member of the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra Marimba Band, and has performed with the Rochester Philharmonic, Rochester Lyric Opera, Symphoria Syracuse, the Binghamton Philharmonic, the Elgin Symphony (IL), Geneva Light Opera, and with the Civic Orchestra of Chicago under Pierre Boulez and Lorin Maazel.
Anthony directs the Hobart and William Smith Colleges Percussion Ensemble. He has taught applied percussion in Nazareth College of Rochester's Community Music Program for nine years, arranged and coached the Shippensburg University (PA) front ensemble for 16. Anthony has taught at West Chester and University and at Trinity International University.
