Midnight on the Water is a trio of string musicians from a post-apocalyptic dimension where artists still have a good time while developing new traditions from the ashes of civilization and figuring out how to survive. In this dimension, they have performed at the Ashokan Center’s Summer Hoot and New Year’s celebration, on Jay Ungar and Molly Mason’s Quiet Room, and at Andrea Clearfield’s Szalon.
In 2025, they're releasing their first album and accompanying lorebook, which includes notation for their music and accounts of daily life amidst the ruins. They collaborate with Tiyé Aalem Pulley for their artwork.
