This channel was created for the fans who’ve asked me over the years to upload my shows from HOT 97 (1989–1993). The Friday Night Hot Mix aired from 8PM–Midnight alongside the legendary Fast Freddie Colon. Those were unforgettable nights on the air — pushing boundaries and bringing energy to New York radio. Most of these mixes were created using Pro Tools Session 8 and a Tascam reel-to-reel, where I built razor edits and remixed nearly 90% of the tracks used in each set. I recorded many of these shows live. Blending Freestyle into House, into Pop — and back again — wasn’t easy, especially within the HOT 97 format, but creativity always found a way. Huge thanks to the fans who preserved these tapes and supported HOT 97 all these years. And special thanks to Kevin and Joel for believing in me and giving me the opportunity to rock the station.
