I, Jacqueline Grant, set up this YT channel to promote traditional Caribbean folksongs, that is, songs that or out of copyright and or the composer of the song is unknown. I feel that ‘Jane and Louisa’ should be as well known as ‘London Bridge is falling Down’. There are also some original Caribbean themed songs composed by myself. Most of the songs will be played on guitar, ukulele or keyboard. There are also a number of playlist containing videos from other YT channels. Such as playlist featuring groups such as the La Petite Musicale, Caribbean Community Choir, Jamaican Folk Singers, Barbados Out. There are also videos to accompany the ebook of musical arrangements of Caribbean folksongs that I have published. So far:- '... for Ukulele' '... for Guitar' '... for Mandolin or Tenor banjo'.
