“Stories From The Countryside” At the core of this orchestra are bassist Benjamin Møller Kirketerp and guitarist Troels Buur Jensen. They compose and arrange all of the material, which is deeply inspired by hymns and folk songs from both Denmark, The Middle East and the rest of Scandinavia. This music is characterised by very strong and moving melodies plus an element of story-telling which adds another very powerful dimension of expression for the audience and the musicians alike. All of the songs by “Stories From The Countryside” are composed and inspired by this fantastic tradition.
