The $870-million transformation of Star City includes the reorientation of the building to embrace Sydney Harbour and the city skyline. The Star boasts more than 20 restaurants, bars and cafes, a new luxury boutique hotel, The Darling, a 16-room spa, upscale retail collection and world class gaming areas. A 4000-capacity events and entertainment centre will be unveiled in early 2013.
