Tapes (VHS, VHC-C, Hi8, etc) are a severely at-risk medium that without swift archiving, it's possible that decades worth of audiovisual heritage, specifically home movies which provide insight into daily life, will be lost or if not already gone due to poor storage conditions.
This personal hobby started as I was digitizing home movies my family, mostly my father, shot from the late-80s all the way into the 2000s. The tapes on the channel are of all kinds. Enjoy the nostalgia!
