Dr. Jordan P. Smith is a New York-based saxophonist and conductor. He completed his D.M.A. at Mason Gross School of the Arts, Rutgers University, where he studied with Dr. Paul Cohen. Dr. Smith currently serves as the Saxophone Program Director and Recruitment Director for Youth Orchestra of Central Jersey (yocj.org) and is an Adjunct Professor at Saint Peter's University. He maintains a large private studio in Princeton, NJ and has premiered over 30 works for the saxophone. He can be heard on Navona, Parma, and Carrier records and his research can be read in the Saxophone Symposium, TEMPO Magazine, and the Saxophone Journal.
