Zavod sv. Stanislava (St. Stanislav’s Institution) is a catholic cultural and educational establishment which consists of 6 units: Diocesan Classical Gymnasium, Jeglič Student Home, Alojzij Šuštar Primary School, Good Shepherd Kindergarten, Matija Tomc Music School, J. F. Gnidovec Residence Hall. Stane Kregar Gallery hosts exhibitions and The Slovene Home offers accomodation. It was established in 1901 by the Diocese of Ljubljana, Slovenia. After the end of World War II the Institution was officially closed, until classes began again in 1993. Presently it educates a total of about 1500 students.
