Ernesto Ferreri b. 1954 Astoria, Queens, NYC The Clark Gable-y visage is supposed to be Gil Blas and bears no resemblance to myself, rather he is a mascot; the fictional hero of my Gil Blas pieces. I enjoyed working on these various compositions, written to be heard -- conceived for concert performance, with a general classical music concert-going audience in mind. Their practicality was only rarely a consideration, giving the music free rein to manifest as presented.
