Hi, I've been GOLD PROSPECTING since 1967. ROCK HOUNDING off and on since 1975 and lately after JASPER, AGATES, CRYSTALS and PETRIFIED WOOD in Washington, Idaho, Oregon and Montana. I catch HONEY BEE SWARMS and maintain between 4 and 8 hives. When I was a kid I grew up in the country on Whidbey Island in Washington state and my six year older neighbor Darrel had a horse and all summer he would be riding it. HE let me ride double once and I was hooked but my dad wouldn't let me have a horse. When I got out of High School I Served a machinist apprenticeship at BOEING and was a machinist for 18 years then transferred to programming for 22 years and retired in 2005. As soon as I retired I moved back to the country and got some horses. My son lives in Montana and I have 25 acres close to the Yellowstone River so I've been PROSPECTING, HUNTING and ROCK HOUNDING on HORSEBACK with him a lot.
