Drummer and Percussionist
Danny Villanueva is a drummer and percussionist in the Washington DC area. He has shared the stage with Stevie Wonder, Phillip Phillips, Ben Folds, John Mayer, Smokey Robinson, Quincy Jones, Yo Yo Ma, The Civil Wars, Morgan Freeman, Dave Brubeck, Chris Botti, Michael Bolton, Joshua Bell, Clay Aiken, Olivia Newton John, and The Irish Tenors. Also a classically trained percussionist, he is a regular substitute with the National Symphony Orchestra with which he has toured both nationally and internationally while working with many of the world's leading conductors. He also specializes in world percussion and it's application to all styles.
