There are children waiting to be adopted right now. It is easier than you think. Adopt South West is a partnership of councils working together to make the adoption process quicker and simpler. We want to encourage people who have not considered adoption before to come forward. If you’re considering adopting a younger child, please enquire about our Fostering for adoption initiative which protects these children from experiencing multiple moves within the care system. Fostering for adoption is used for babies and children who are in local authority care where the plan is likely to be adoption, but who still have a chance of being reunited with their birth family.
