Nawanatya is a channel that contains a collection of videos of students learning the Javanese language at SMKN 3 Malang. This channel is purposely created to show the world that student work is valuable to support authentic student-centered learning. According to a 2012 report produced by Cisco Systems sees student work is “a powerful tool in the hands of students” (Greenberg AD, 2012), and student use of video has seen a significant increase in recent times. The use of video produced by students in a learning process can be interpreted as providing students opportunities to reflect and offer excellent opportunities for the emergence of peer feedback. Student work can understand as supporting creating a culture of assessment in a learning process (Bloxham & Carver, 2014).
