XYPHOS formed in Toronto in 2010 with the intent to create something unique and satisfying. Comprised of the diverse vocals and demented guitar of Andrew Power, the quiet mania of guitarist Ahmed Ali, the aggressive and creative attitude of drummer Brody Overfalle and the eccentric approach of bassist Rory Kennedy, Xyphos is a band dedicated to their singular brand of music. Never satisfied, with themselves or others, Xyphos cannot compromise; each song is an expression of the sentiment that each member shares, that music is a pure representation of our thoughts, feelings, and darkest desires.
