Music has a way of bringing people together, and this is certainly true for this trio. College best friends turned band, this group is comprised of Mariah Clare, Imre, and Eryl Jesel Soriano, whose harmonic tunes bring upon a sense of peace like ocean waves. Formed in late 2018 under a different name, XYZ! had their debut as an acoustic trio performing their original music at MOrg Live 13: Island in the Sun, an event held by the UP Musicians’ Organization on the 10th of May 2019. Since then, even after the graduation of senior member Angel Roque, a.k.a. Imre, in 2019, they have been performing together at different events and are planning to release more music as a trio soon.
