Hailing from San Diego, California and North Carolina, Southern Call is an Americana and country duo that brings together the sounds of the desert and red dirt vibes. Their musical journey began when they both moved to Nashville in 2015 to pursue their dreams and they formed their duo in 2017. Since then, Southern Call has been captivating audiences with their unique blend of rootsy instrumentation, soaring harmonies and heartfelt songwriting.
Cierra Louise Trainor and Sean Trainor, the two halves of Southern Call, have been making music together for years. They share a deep love of traditional country, rock and folk music and they have honed their craft through countless gigs, performances and collaborations. When they moved to Nashville, they quickly found a home in the vibrant music scene, and they began building their reputation as a duo to watch. Now, Southern Call is gearing up to release their debut album, Pioneertown, in the fall of 2023.
