Reimaginations is the project of pianist/composer Peter Knudsen, showing that classical 20th century music and jazz can meet in a way that brings out the best of both worlds. Based on decades of musical experiments, the pianist - together with musical collaborators- reimagines repertoire from the 20th century in a highly personal way, where improvisation plays an important role in breathing new life into the classical pieces. The result - a rare encounter between the present and the past.
