I'm a passionate, innovative Global HR Executive who sits at the intersection of technology & culture. Recently my team was recognized as a finalist for the 2018 Canadian HR Team of the Year - Retail / Hospitality. This continued an incredible run highlighted by our 2017 award for Canada’s “Most Innovative Use of HR Technology”. Our strategy started with a single goal - to automate repetitive administrative tasks to become paperless. In 2016, we relied heavily on a veritable motley crew of spreadsheets, forms & checklists. Change was needed. In 12 months, we selected, piloted & implemented five (5) HR technologies. As automated manual processes were automated, we enhanced our employee experience & removed administrative tasks from line managers. The HR team put away their spreadsheets & checklists in favour of coaching & supporting our internal customers. I’m so proud of the team & their accomplishments. - Matt
