Clarent (Fabián Cartagena Torres), born in Puerto Rico in 2002, went from being a barber to becoming a key figure in the urban scene. He launched his career in 2022, with a breakthrough in 2024 through “Trópico” with Pressure and “Enzaciao,” both supported by his manager Jonniel. The “Sport+” remix with Myke Towers expanded his global reach.
His biggest hit, “IA,” produced with Mora and Jonniel, has over 112M Spotify streams, hit #1 in Spain and Puerto Rico, and peaked at #143 on the Global Top 200. In summer 2025, he completed his first international tour in Spain. He earned a nomination for Breakthrough Male Artist of the Year at Premios Lo Nuestro 2025 and signed a global deal with Warner Music Latina, boosting his audience by 135% in a month. He has collaborated with iZaak, Bryant Myers, and Rauw Alejandro (“Forni”).
Today, Clarent is seen as one of Puerto Rico’s most promising new urban voices.
