The current organ being rebuilt in our workshop is a 1865 Forster & Andrews organ, formally in Louth Union chapel where it was installed December 1919/January 1920. We bought the organ in 2010 & in 2021 started an 18 month restoration & insallation in the private chapel I had built here in 2020. The private chapel was a bequest from my late Uncle, Peter Shireby. He wanted me to provide an organ (at my expense) in a modern heated building to be available for people who are learning to play the organ for free use. The organ has been playable since December 2022. As I write this half the pedal action still needs building & installing & then it's just painting panels & fitting the new drawstop engraved inserts. The Conacher organ shown in some of the videos is now finished & available for sale. We have another 8 instruments in stock awaiting restoration, including a Henry Jackson (Lincoln) instrument which is also currently in the workshop, but not yet playable. Richard Shireby 2023
