I'm a Civil War history buff and have worked in the media for more than 30 years. I wrote and produced "Last Raid at Cabin Creek," a Civil War documentary about a Civil War battle in Indian Territory (present day Oklahoma.) I also authored the book "The Second Battle of Cabin Creek: Brilliant Victory," which was named as a finalist in the 2013 Oklahoma Book Awards.
