Nestled in a picturesque hillside in West Windsor, Vermont, Lucy Mackenzie Humane Society is a non-profit, no-kill animal shelter, dedicated to improving the lives of animals and people and has been doing so for over a century. Its bright and warm shelter, which sits on 12-acres of semi-wooded land and fields, provides a safe haven to hundreds of homeless, neglected and mistreated cats and dogs every year. Serving Windsor County, the Upper Valley and surrounding communities, Lucy Mackenzie's caring staff and volunteers make every effort to ensure that the animals are healthy, well adjusted, and ready to be matched with a home that will cherish them for the rest of their lives.
