Rock Dance Theatre© was created over night, impulsively by Anna Achimowicz in 2017 Stockholm, Sweden. After nearly 20 years in the performance and dance theatre field, dance wasn't just enough any more, fashion had to be louder and more expressive than I used before, my body started wanting to be a musician. I picked up a guitar, started using it on stage, interacted with musicians, choreography came out of using the instruments. Later came drums and percussion. RDT was born out of a will to connect and mix something that was never combined in that way before. I'st world Rock and Roll Physical Dance Theatre Hybrid brought to you together by choreographer, dancer and rocker. Physical, powerful and experimental performance project. Where a performance collective, fusing rock guitar driven music, physical dance theatre, and very visual styling & fashion integrating many arts in an original way in shows like "On Edge", "Fire and Blood", "Satiric Tango", "Steam, Drums, n Dance".
