I started my music journey in Western Massachusetts in 1986, beginning as the bassist for the synth-pop band Diamondz in the Rough with Tommy Tallarico, who later became famous in the video game world. In 1999, Tommy and I reunited to work on the song “Letters to Paris” for the Tomorrow Never Dies video game soundtrack. I later joined the blues rock band Dead Reckoning, playing local clubs in Springfield, MA, around the same time as Staind, although we never performed together. Dead Reckoning recorded a demo with Jeff Gilmer, who went on to become the sound engineer for Staind. In the late ’90s, I moved to Hollywood, CA, where I became the bassist for the jam band Sea of Green. We played shows with The Disco Biscuits. During that time, I helped create two LA rock bands, Untyde and 39 Reasons. Untyde’s song “Shine” was featured in the movie School of Life starring Ryan Reynolds in 2005. 39 Reasons went on a national tour in 2005/2006. Look out for my new band Filth Wagon in 2026.
