RICHARD OBERACKER is a composer/lyricist/librettist. With co-lyricist/co-librettist Robert Taylor, their original musicals include BANDSTAND (Paper Mill Playhouse, Broadway, National Tour), ACE (St. Louis Rep, Cincinnati Playhouse, Old Globe, Signature Theatre and Nevada Conservatory Theatre), THE SANDMAN (NAMT Festival, Fredericia Theatre of Denmark, Majestic Rep), THE HOUSE ON WATCH HILL (Vegas Theatre Co, Ensemble Theatre), THE PARENTING PROJECT (Ensemble Theatre of Cincinnati), JOURNEY TO THE WEST (NYMF Festival NYC), and BRUCE (Seattle Rep). Other works include THE GREAT GATSBY (Nesay Theatre, Tokyo and Japanese National Tour), THE GOSPEL ACCORDING TO FISHMAN (Signature Theatre), IN THAT VALLEY (NAMT Festival) and DRACULA (CCM Corbet Theatre).
