So I'm Griff (the Filker). There are other musicians out there named Griff, but I think I'm the only one doing filk. Hence the name. I've known about filk for decades. I picked up guitar in June of 2021, and started doing filk around June 2023, when I was invited to my first online filk convention. I started writing my own songs in December 2023. Cons so far: Festival of the Living Rooms (multiple), Consonance 2024, OVFF 2024, LosCon 2024 & Consonance 2025. Cons to come: FotLR, BayCon, Worldcon Seattle, OryCon, and LosCon. I'm on BandCamp and my first album is now live! Go check it out: drgriff.bandcamp.com I have enough songs for at least four more albums, so I'm putting them up on playlists here so you can get a sense of what I'm about. You'll hear some singer-songwriter stuff, some Stephen King stuff (I'm a Constant Reader and a huge fan of his work!), and some other fandoms as well (The Good Place, Dune, Star Wars and Katherine Kurtz all figure in my songs too).
