Get to the Roots Extras is a podcast by Stef of Get to the Roots on RadioStPete.com -- but I'm also a visual artist (@Sparkleweather) and video editor, as well as a part-time songwriter. I work with singer-songwriter Fiona Frensche on music videos and with Jerome Savoie aka Crazy Grandpa on songwriting, as well as videos. I've also co-hosted The Florida Folk Show when I'm not at work on Saturdays, hosted special live performances on RadioStPete.com, created video promotions for their fundraisers, started their original newsletter, and I continue to uplift and support local musicians through my podcast and my weekly show. I want to GET TO THE ROOTS of good music and truly moving art -- where does it start? Locals! Townies! Artists who make for the sake of expression! More than anything, I want to build the most popular podcast in local music and beyond so that I can promote the work of my very amazing and wonderful friends as well as the skilled musicians of St Pete and beyond.
