I am Steffen Gabriel, instrument maker and musician. For more than 10 years, I have been building traditional Irish flutes in various tunings and finishes in my workshop. My aim is to build instruments that are easy to play over the entire range. Their tone has warm lows and bell-like highs - and offers great dynamic and creative possibilities without putting obstacles in the way of the player.
