Anomaly is an alternative rock band based out of Hamilton NJ. The band mixes influences from alternative rock, classic rock, metal, funk, and pop to create their distinct sound.
The text book definition of anomaly is any occurrence or object that is strange, unusual, or unique. It can also mean a discrepancy or deviation from an established rule, trend, or pattern. While the individual members of this band may not be strange...well maybe not that strange....their musical union is a unique one that bucks the current trend and presents a sonic partnership that does not comply to any set standard style.
Instead they incorporate elements from a bunch of different styles and influences be it classic rock or metal, alternative or funk, or even current pop into an ever changing soundscape that keeps the listener engaged and off guard.....and that is just the way they like it....an Anomaly.
