Joseph George is an independent researcher focused on foundational mechanics and the physical interpretation of abstract theoretical concepts. His research began in 1994 with an investigation into conceptual gaps in nuclear physics, leading to the formulation of the Exploding Mass Defect Hypothesis (EMDH), based on extensive analysis of microstructural evidence from irradiated materials. The New Physics Project proposes that nuclear mass defect does not convert into pure energy as described by E = mc², but instead explosively transforms into an ultra-fine, space-filling form of matter. In this framework, mass remains matter in a different physical state, carrying energy and momentum and influencing nuclear reaction dynamics. Accumulated ultra-fine matter is proposed to fill space and become denser near massive bodies, offering alternative interpretations of gravity, light, and relativity.
