Welcoming lost souls to the banjo ranks with this tutorial channel for beginners in frailing (clawhammer) banjo. I'm Banjo Jen - a singer-songwriter from sunny Sheffield in the UK. I don't play that many old tunes, or do that much technical stuff. But I use frailing banjo for playing songs and having fun. This channel is going to be a series of tutorials for anyone who's just starting out and wants to do the same thing! When I taught myself a few years back, I found YouTube tutorials really helpful, so now I'm just trying to pay it forward a bit. Do join me in the uphill struggle to make banjo cool!
