Hi, I’m John-Allison Weiss (they/them), a queer trans songwriter and longtime road dawg. I’ve been on YouTube since 2007—part of the first wave of DIY musicians using the internet to share songs and build community. Over the years, I’ve toured the world, released a bunch of records, and written songs with some of my heroes. These days, I’m writing country music under the name Charlie Mtn.—songs born in deserts, forests, and roadside pull-offs, full of heart, dust, and queer cowboy longing.
