The Department of School Leadership at the State Council of Educational Research and Training, Haryana, works to strengthen educational leadership and improve the quality of school administration across the state. The department organizes capacity-building programmes, orientation sessions, workshops, webinars, research activities, and leadership development initiatives for school heads and educational administrators.
The School Leadership Academy (SLA), functioning as a part of the Department of School Leadership, was established in 2016 under the umbrella of the National Centre for School Leadership, National Institute of Educational Planning and Administration. SLA Haryana aims to transform schools by addressing leadership requirements and school-related issues.
