This channel contains movie projects by students in New Haven, CT. From 2015-2023 the videos were produced by students at Wilbur Cross High School. In the fall of 2024 I (Mr. Bellantoni) transferred from Cross to Metropolitan Business Academy.
The intro level class is an introduction to movie making basics including: Pre-Production (script writing, storyboarding, shooting schedule), Production (camera shots/angles/movements, sound, lighting), and Post-Production (importing media, assembling the story, cutaways, sound syncing, multi-camera editing, voice overs, effects, etc.).
The advanced classes produce high quality short films, including PSA's, comedies, dramas, documentaries, and more. The advanced class productions have won numerous contests and film festivals over the years. Those productions from the advanced classes are all contained in a channel playlist called "Some of Our Best Stuff".
I am very proud of the work and effort my students have put into these productions.
