Jack The Lads aren't your run-of-the-mill Toronto outfit. Their unique, garage-soul sound will shake you up and break the monotony. Scene Magazine says, “The stylish trio have a lot going for them.” Jack The Lads are having a party and you’re invited.
Jack the Lads got their name from an old Irish sea-shanty: “If ever a fellow took delight in swigging, gigging, kissing, drinking, fighting Damme, I’ll be bold to say that Jack’s the lad.” Since their inception, The Lads have performed at Canadian Music Week two years in a row – but they’re only getting started.
Having played the old haunts of Toronto, including The Silver Dollar, Velvet Underground, The Opera House, The Phoenix, and The Drake Underground, Jack The Lads' adrenaline-filled sets are reminiscent of The Jam and The Clash, and get the whole crowd moving. Hard at work on their debut EP, it’s only a matter of time before Toronto gets hip to the Lads.
