Thatch Records is an events sound engineering and production powerhouse doubling as a record label located in Eastern Uganda.
The name "Thatch Records" derived from the traditionally thatched Ugandan roofs and the dry savannah which inspired the first songs produced by the lable with its wild beauty. Until now traditional African tunes have stayed an important part of the production, but the spectre has been broadened to a wide range of tunes.
Thatch Records´producers create music from Dancehall-Ragga to Afro-Pop, Gospel, Western Music and more. There is a beat for every melody a client creates and professional solutions to all challenges, from the very first idea of a song to the final touches.
