Best of all we design and manufacture in the United States. Lancelot Pinnock is a Rhode Island native and the inventor of the Step 180. Lancelot studied Assistive Technology at the University of Rhode Island. Lancelot’s design philosophy is to find beauty in simplicity. This aesthetic helped him garner recognition from his professors, friends and family. Hideaway Solutions began with the invention of the Step 180 Cabinet Step Stool, but has grown with the addition of the Nook wall-mounted step stool, Trio three-step ladder and the introduction of the SWITCH Desk, a wall-mounted folding desk.
