Welcome to your daily dose of double bass 🎻 This channel is a place to spend time with the sound of the double bass. On Wednesdays, I share how I spend time with the instrument, practicing, learning, revisiting repertoire, and exploring technique and musical ideas as they unfold. On Saturdays, I simply play, offering uninterrupted music for listening, reflection, and long-form enjoyment. You will hear music spanning Medieval, Baroque, Classical, Romantic, modern and contemporary works, as well as jazz ballads, orchestral excerpts, solo double bass repertoire, chamber music, and film music. I believe the double bass can play it all, and I love exploring its voice across styles and eras. I began playing the double bass as a child and returned to it in 2024.
