Recording artist Stephen Majewski is a composer and arranger of music for solo piano. His songs have been described as beautiful but haunting, mesmerizing, glorious, graceful, relaxing, atmospheric, calming, magnificent, meditative, and beautifully reflective. Stephen’s latest album ROADS includes three original songs: “Morning Star,” “Wings of the Dawn,” and “Hope;” his piano arrangement of “In the Hall of the Mountain King” by Edvard Grieg; and his interpretations of three songs from the 1977 Rankin/Bass animated production of The Hobbit: “Roads,” “Misty Mountains Cold,” and “The Greatest Adventure.” Maury Laws, the composer of The Hobbit soundtrack and other Rankin/Bass productions such as “The Year Without a Santa Claus” and “Santa Claus Is Comin' to Town,” called ROADS “most enjoyable.” Another listener described the songs as “quite haunting and beautiful at the same time. Very enjoyable."
