Charity Mapletoft is a classical soprano and actress.
During the 2023 season, she made her Weill Recital Hall, Carnegie Hall, and Stiftung Mozarteum Groẞer Saal solo debuts to international critical acclaim, having been offered a series of summer and winter concerts due to her competition success - winning almost exclusively first and grand prizes in over forty international operatic competitions since 2021.
In addition to operatic and concert work, she has also acted in feature films including Muppets Most Wanted (2014), The Riot Club (2014) and Star Wars: The Last Jedi (Episode VIII) (2017), as well as taken lead roles in Back for the Future (2022), Track and Trace (2022) and The Female Gaze (2022).
Having obtained the equivalent of a bachelor’s degree while still a teenager, Charity currently holds the following qualifications with distinction: M. Mus.; B. Mus. (Hons.); LRAM (voice, soprano); LRSM (voice); DipABRSM (voice); DipABRSM (piano); LAMDA Gold Medal (acting).
