The Privateers is a Dramedy series about two mature women who happen to be pirates. They are the Thelma & Louise of the high seas! We are doing this DIY and are looking for support, show runner, producer(s) collaborators and opportunities. Ann Fitzpatrick and Charlotte Berry attack Ann's Ex-Husband in Tenerife. After they succeed in blowing up his troops they quickly escape to a remote area of Newfoundland where Ann misplaces their ship. Stuck on a barren island filled with breeding seals, and a massacred crew from another vessel, they make the best of their time there utilizing the contents of the murdered crew's Ghost Ship drifting off the coast. As they plan to make their way to New Orleans, they are being hunted by James Fitzpatrick who has landed with British troops on the very same island. In amusing ways, they redefine their love, purpose, intimate relationship, and identities in a dangerous and cruel world. More characters will be added as the show develops! Stay tuned!
