In 1997 his music was released in Germany and in 1999 he signed his first U.S. record deal. In 2009 he recorded in Memphis,TN and in Nashville,TN. He has performed in countries including Bulgaria, Cyprus, Denmark, France, Germany, Holland, Poland, Romania, Sweden, U.K. and in the U.S.A. Like Gene Vincent, Chris has experienced severe traffic accidents, which is one of the reasons why he has adapted the “Wildcat” nickname. First part of the name dates back to 1984 after watching a movie directed by John Carpenter. The guitar player in "The Rebels" joked about similarities between "Christine" and "Chris Dean" referring to James Dean. Chris created his alter ego in 1996 before the German release.
