Dane Sellers is a young landscape painter currently living in Arizona, originally from the Salt Lake area of Utah.
Dane’s artistic journey began in childhood, inspired by visits to his maternal grandparents’ “gallery-like” home and to the art galleries of Park City, Utah. In addition to the artists in his grandparents’ collection, his other major influences include contemporary masters such as Clyde Aspevig, Scott Christensen, Matt Smith, Jim Wilcox, and Bill Anton.
Today, Dane continues to focus on painting the American West, particularly its quieter, more intimate scenes. Guided by his faith in God, a deep love for fine art, and an unwavering desire to grow, Dane hopes that—if it is part of God’s plan—his dedication will lead to a lifelong painting career. Regardless of where the path leads, art will always hold a central place in his life. He gives thanks to God, his family, friends, and all who have been a positive influence on his journey as an artist.
