Stefan Gymsa performs as a solo guitarist and chamber music partner. He is member of the judging panel in competitions and teaches during workshops for chamber music. Since October 2013 he's got a teaching assignment at the college of Music Cologne (Wuppertal). 2014 he got his Solo Master's degree (class of Prof. Gerhard Reichenbach). Previously he obtained his Bmus with honours (class of Prof. Alfred Eickholt). Next to his soloistic appearance, Stefan Gymsa is an experienced partner for chamber music in varying constellations. He also played in the Wuppertal Opera under H. Griffiths and Wuppertal Symphonie Orchestra under T. Kamioka. He was part of the CD production "Deutsche Gitarrenmusik" for the label Naxos.
