My name is Christina Cyr and I am the CEO of dTOOR, makers of "Non-Rectangular Phones for Non-Rectangular People" starting with a smartphone with a circular display, called The Cyrcle Phone. In September 2016 dTOOR launched a successful Kickstarter campaign with a 2G prototype of The Cyrcle Phone and delivered all rewards (phones, classes, t-shirts, videos, etc.) to backers within 60 days. Since then our team at dTOOR has been working on the 4G LTE Android version of The Cyrcle Phone, to be released soon. I’m passionate about having a better diversity of handsets in the market than we have today. The current phones don’t work for absolutely everyone, and we need to have more options in the industry. To that end, in my spare time I volunteer to teach people to put together their own phones to encourage growth in this area. So far I have taught over 200 people how to put together their own phones. I hope my videos will help you design your own phone, too.
